It's probably not called the green coast without good reason. Has anyone been camping in the Picos de Europa or near the coast of Cantabria or Asturias in early September? All the photos I've seen on the Internet show it looking dull and cloudy. I can't find any unbiased sources of information about the weather in this part of Spain. I don't mind a bit of rain in the evening, but uninterrupted days of it as we've experienced in the Alps are not much fun.

Went to Northern Spain a few years ago, and had to eventually move into Southern France, cos it rained so much.

It is green for a reason!
