Hi. We stayed at La Source near Dieppe in March on the way back from Spain http://www.camping-la-source.fr/ Nice facilities and area , friendly owners and convenient to get around.
If you use Camping Cheques works out at £10.30 per night with electrics
Stayed many times now at Camping Chateau du Gandspette near St. Omer - a lovely site with very French ambience. Excellent clean facilites and restaurant etc and good pools, tennis courts etc. It's about 40 minutes max from Calais port and about 30 minutes from Dunkirk.
It's a member of the Sites et Paysages chain, check the website
thanks for all the replies..St.Omer is looking the most likely so far..Any advance on St.Omer??....Been on the website for Chateau de Grandspette, looks very nice
You don't say where the war memorial is... There's a lot of them about, all over the Pas de Calais, and the location may affect your choice of campsite.
We stayed here at easter http://www.camping-bien-assise.fr/ ,part of the castels group. About 10 mins from Calais, close to that huge shopping centre who's name escapes me. A very clean and tidy site with very good facilities.
