has anybody been to this site or knoow about this area .we were going to saumur but the site was full.

Loches is on the list as being one of the most beautiful villages in France. Look out for the dungeons though. I wouldn't go speeding or overstaying in a car park!!

Visited Loches last year on our first trip to France. The Old town and castle are fantastic.

We store our caravan near Loche and have visited a few times. It's a lovely town. The chateau and Dungeons are well worth a visit but there are lots of steps to climb.

Camping La Citadelle is a large site, I haven't been on it but have walked around the side of it along a small stream. It looks nicely kept and clean. There were also lots of activities advertised. Sorry I can't be more help.
