Sorry I can't really help. I remember asking the border patrol officer who had just sold me my first Swwiss Vignette where I was required to stick-it, ie, was it supposed to go in the front window. He said he didn't know, shrugged and walked away. I would be inclined to say display it prominently on the front of your camper - but on second thouught aren't they glued to stick on the inside of the windscreen so on the outside of the camper could be difficult. Another warning is that the Vignettes seem quite hard to remove afterwards. They are designed to tear when you try to remove, presumably so that you can't swap them to other vehicles and the glue on the torn bits is very strong.
Sorry this isn't much help I'm sure someone will be able to offer some practical help and at least I've "bumped" you to the top of the board to make it more likely for someone more knowledgeable to see -LOL. Have a good trip Switzerland is one on of my favourite countries in Europe. We'll be passing through to Italy in late July and returning late August - deep red Vauxhall Monterey towing Avondale Landranger 5900L- come and say hello if you see us.
Best wishes
Tim
