We're going to the Champagne region this year, having stopovers on the way there and the way back, just to make life easier. Not been this side of France before - any comments peeps? We're staying at:

We are heading there tomorrow to that site via P &O Hull to Zebrugge. All packed and ready- I will give you a run down when we get back ( 14th August) hope you don't go before then!

Caroline - we arrive onsite on the 10th August - so you'll still be there. We'll be the ones in green overloaded Vectra and 2 boys - one with long blonde curly hair - can't miss him!

We stayed there a couple of years ago, nice site nice people - but very busy have fun

There was quite a lot of discussion about this site a couple of weeks ago on this forum - scroll back through and you might find some useful info. We stayed here a couple of years ago on the way back from Germany and were blessed with yucky weather. Our pitch didn't get much sun (that year there wasn't a lot of sun around fullstop!) and we had a hell of a job trying to clean up our tent and dry it out! Never the less the loos were spotless and the facilities good altho the pool was extremely chlorinated. The area was interesting although it seemed a little bit in need of some investment. Troyes was worth a look and I believe there is a good watersport complex nearby.
