hi,

apologies if this has already been answered before but...
I am planning next weeks trip to Loire (saumur), does anyone know if the new part of the A28, Rouen to Alencon, is toll free or not?
I know you have to pay from Alencon to Le Mans, but i need to know about the new part please,

dont know but we`re on the same road next Monday morning, wee small hours. ive looked on via michelin and its quoting me about 24 euros from rouen to tours.

Hi

We used the A28 last fri. I'm sure it cost about 24euros from Tours to Rouen. Worth every penny . Very fast with no hold ups. Lot better the the journey from Ashford back to Newcastle.One long jam. We could learn a lot from the French road system.

thanks everyone for the info - esp. that french motorways website - i just couldn't remember it!
i was looking on Mappy.com and it says 24 euros as well by the way.

going in 2 days - can't wait.

I've just got back today using the A28. Tolls were 37euros with a caravan. Only 1 petrol station between Rouen & Le Mans.
