We have booked to go to these two sites summer 2007 and was wondering if anyone could tell me if they really are as good as they look in the brochures. We are going with canvas holidays and as my kids love the all singing all dancing type of sites these look as though they will fit the bill perfectly. Hoping to get some cheap flights with easyjet to Barcelona when they release them, I think usually around Xmas time.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
I went with Eurocamp to Cabrils park a couple of years ago, the facilities were faultless, and the kids absolutely loved it ...... the problem is when you leave the site, Cambrils itself is nice (lovely play area across the road from the site on the beach), and the harbour down the road is also lovely ....... but head into Salou and it is Chav hell, so my advice is always turn right when you leave the site and avoid Salou. There were also a few of the 'tatoo and football shirt' brigade staying near us on the site ...... but we were in a large mobile home, I'm sure the 'under canvas' folks will be nicer. The only other thing is that the pitches are quite small and close together.
Oh ..... by the way we booked cheap flights to Barcelona too, the journey down is dead easy ....... but watch out who you hire your car from, We arrived late after a flight delay and Hertz were closed and very unsympathetic (despite knowing our flight details), then I went back the following day (a fortune in Taxi's) and their queue was 2 hours long whilst every other provider was getting people into cars in about 15 mins!
