Hi, we're relatively new to this camping lark but managed a 2wk holiday in Cornwall with our Trailer Tent in the Summer and now want to go further afield next Summer. I want to go to Holland, pref just 'left' of Amsterdam so that we could get to beaches easily too,

As I said, we're complete novices - have only driven in Europe twice: both times from Chunnel to CiteEurope.. without trailer..

So - what so we need to know???

Obviously I'm mainly looking for site reccommendations, I've found a few likely ones on the net but much prefer to learn from what other people say.

Is there anything else we sould know about / consider? Just looked at prices of ferry crossings, some are further that we want but they're still scary!

Ah now....ya should do an FAO for either wlee or Freebird, coz they'll be bound to know of some, being as they live in Holland.

Wlee in particular knows Amsterdam very well, having been very helpful with info for me and my hubby when we went there for a diving competition earlier this year.

If I were you, I'd defo do an FAO just incase they miss this one
