We were at Bel for the end of the school holidays (as you can see below ). First time we'd been to the area, liked the site itself, facilities were good. 2 things i realised once we were there:
1. Booking direct would have been HALF the cost of booking through Eurocamp Independent (EC were effectively 80 euros a day, a pitch for my family of 5 booking direct would've been 40E).
2. The site was predominantly British guests. Out of 200 pitches, i would estimate we saw no more than 5 French cars, 2 Dutch, 2 German, 2 Irish. The rest were English, which we were a bit 'surprised' at.
It depends on what you want from your holiday and travel company: included travel insurance, kids clubs, zero language problems etc. If we were to go back i'd certainly go direct rather than through EC.
