Hi Paul
We’ve been lots of times here. independently and with Eurocamp.
This site is also called Paris International.
Forget the four star thing. That only relates to its location!
Small shop for basics and a cafe on site. Facilities basic and not well maintained. Rats on site, spotted on the river, plenty of onsite cats and kittens which my little girl adored! It is a city, (capital city!) campsite. There is an access barrier there. Key card operated, deposit required. Always had problems to get in when arriving and leaving early morning, to get deposit back, so ask for it day before - I refuse to pay Eurocamp and still demand a key! - BUT -
Good News ! - Would highly recommend if only using to get into Paris. It’s only a ten minute stroll up a slight hill to the station. Trains are every 15 mins. 15 - 20 mins into Paris.1 hr to Disney .(There are two lines that trains take from there - we took the wrong one once! - still got us into Paris - eventually!) The village is lovely with plenty of shops. inc. a fairly large supermarket. The station is directly on the main street, ideal for popping to the shops on your return from Paris, for something to eat.
HOWEVER - If only staying for a couple of days . 1 at Paris, 1 at Disney. The sites nearer disney are a lot nicer and the station to Paris is there too. You might find the 8euro parking for disney / train station , well worthwhile for a well kept site. Can also pop into disney village (free) after a trip into Paris, if you have the energy!
Whatever you decide to do have a fab time!
