I just Googled them both - The Sol a Gogo has its own beach accessible from the site and the Clarys Plage invoves a 400m walk from the site.

We stayed on Sol-a-Gogo a few years ago now, with Eurocamp. It has access to the beach through the dunes so i would say a five minute walk would get ya there. It is a nice site, medium sized with a good pool complex.

Le Clarys Plage is just down the road from Sol-a-Gogo. We haven't stayed on that one and I wouldn't choose it. We were on La Yole (highly recommend) and visited friends who were staying on Le Clarys and I didn't like the pitch sizes. I felt they were small and it seemed a bit sardines-in-a-tin-like!

The town/area where these sites are is smashin with lots to do for the kids.I would recommend you also consider La Yole although its not got beach access you could walk or short drive to it.

We have stayed on Sol a Gogo twice now, in a Eurocamp  tent.  We are just in the process of booking again for next year for one week, and then moving on to a different site for the second week.

The site is in a great position with beach access via a security gate. We like the site because it's not too big, and the pitches are quite a good size.  You can also walk out to various restaurants and bars etc.

Shen

I was in Sol a Go Go during the World Cup in June - and yes it really is on the beach. Go through the gate straight into the dunes. I spent many evenings walking on the beach with the family watching the sun go down

Loved the site - the bar is small but nice as is the pool. The pitches themselves are a bit spartan and you can see all the drainpipes and irrigation system. It is quite a dusty site and I found the pitches small - BUT I would go there again.

If you want a nice restaurant turn right out of the site and go into the first restuarant on the left - can't remember the name but went about 5 times in 2 weeks.

St Jean de Monts is only a 10 minute drive up the road and there is a good choice of restuarants there - St Giles to the south is also well worth a visit.

Take a trip to Lac du Jaunay - hire an electric boat for a couple hours - again a good day out.

For a day trip make sure to go to Ile De Normutier and go across the tidal road just after the tide has gone out - a VERY eery experience with water all around you when in the car.
