Hi Everyone

                  Would realy like some information from all you knowledgable lot!!!!

Went to france last year and did a bit of touring round and would like to go back to the vendee area. Only this time will be taking our new dog, I know the resturants are good allowing dogs in as we saw a lot last year but can anyone recommend beaches she will be able to go on?

Also has anyone taken there dog on the ferry (how did the dog cope with the crossing etc)

Hi happycamper we have taken our two spaniels on the Dover/Calais crossing twice.The first time they barked a bit at the noise as the ship prepared to sail but after that they were fine.We stayed with the car the first time until the P&O crew made us leave but the second time they were fine they were fast asleep when we returned to the car .We made sure they had a chance to stretch their legs before sailing and just put some water in for them.Hope you all enjoy the trip.
