Hi Folks, Just going through the annual task of finding a site in the Loire, we are booked on Stu & Syb site for a few days in June then we venture further south for about eight days. Now we have all the site books in all the colors and in all the sizes and as well at looking at a million web-site we think we have fine tuned the search to Camping la Citadelle at Loches, anyone have any comments on this site, good, bad, or otherwise. We are two semi-wrinklies going in June
Many Thanks as always
Stu

Lovely site, stayed there last September and it has the benefit that its almost in the town centre. I have some pictures on my website. If you are going out of the main season they do accept Camping Cheques. Pitches are a good size and you can upgrade to a fully serviced pitch for a small extra fee. These pitches are in the newer part of the site so don't have as much shade. We were really taken with this campsite.

Many Thanks to Aliguth and David for taking the time to respond to our question, I think that's about made our mind up from your positive comments. Just out of interest David and after looking at your web-site , we were also at Camping Val De La Trie at Abbeville in September, Nice part of France
Thanks again

Hi Stu & Jackie
When are you going to be near Loche? We are going to be near there in June and thought perhaps we could perhaps meet up for drinkies again one night!

Strange indeed. We haven't changed it or anything. Did you get my UK campsite Xmas card? I'll try emailing you again and see what happens - should be with you in the next 30 mins, so have a look. If you don't get anything post again and I'll give you my hotmail address.
We will hopefully still be there around the same time as you - we're in France 11th to the 24th and will be around Loches at the beginning at least, but if we feel settled enough may stay for the duration, but we'll sort something out with you by email.
What's this with the semi-wrinkled? Thought you'd be all the way there by now!
Speak to you soon

Hi all,
We are off to La Citadelle on 5th August for 21 Nights, our 1st trip to France! We chose this site after spotting it in David Klynes website (thanks David great website), then noticed it was in the caravan clubs brochure, so thought we'd give it a go. Hope we like France , it will be a long 3 weeks otherwise!
Cheers all
Andy
