Hi, I was just wondering if you could tell me the size of the pitches on your site please?

I have tried to e-mail you but for some reason my e-mails do not seem to be getting through, even on the web based mail from your website.....

My computer seems to have Gremlins

Many Thanks

Mel, they differ. There are no set pitches really, just areas that you set up in, but mainly around the edges of the site, leaving the middle free for kids to play in. If I had a guess, they're in the reagion of 100m2 plus. Where we have you is in the far corner, and that's a lovely spot. Hope that helps?

Dunno why you're not getting through on the website, we're getting mail all the time from it. I'll check this end though, just to be sure.

Thank you for that

It sounds wonderful, I really can't wait. You site does really look lovely.........

We are currently learning french too so it will be a great opportunity to try out our new language skills (or lack of) Plus we will be doing a bit of area research as we are looking to move to France in about 2-3 years once we have completed our Degrees. (or before if we win the lottery)

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Mel,

if it helps, would you like me to post a pic of where you'll be on here? Or e-mail you?

How are you learning your French? I highly recommend the Michel Thomas CD's. If you can get past the really irritating lady 'stooge' on there, it's a fantastic method. But, there's no substitute for being here! What area of France are you looking to move to, any ideas yet?

Hi Stu, I'll not have a pic if you don't mind I like surprises, I was only asking about pitch size as my dad passed away last week and I was thinking of offering my mum to join us (obviously i would check if this is ok with you as it means re-adjusting booking and a larger tent) She may not want to but I thought it might a nice break for her........... Oh yeah we are studying French Part Time with the Open University Alongside our Main Degrees - Me - English Literature,  Husband - Physics.    As for Moving I am not really sure yet as I have only previously visited northern France and Paris, but I quite fancy the regions of western Loire, Poitou Charente or Acquitaine

Hi Pager33, Yes we are there from the 10th (I think) to the 29th August our two boys will be nearly 5 & nearly 7, I am really looking forward to the Holiday, as you read above we are going through an upsetting time at the moment and it is nice to have something to look forward to.

Mel,

I am learning French with the OU too. I have started Ouverture and am loving every minute.  I can honestly say I have become a bit obsessed with it and hardly watch telly anymore!  Which course are you studying and how is it going?

Sarah

Mel,

Sincere condolences to you all, so sad to hear that. Hope you're ok? It's no problem at all with us if you want to bring Mum. Sounds like a great idea, it'll possibly give her something to look forward to as well.

As for pitch sizes, just let me know if you do want to bring a different tent. I don't think it'll make too much of a difference, but with us being full for the time you're here, we don't have an awful lot of choices open as regards non-ehu pitches you see? Don't worry about it though, where you are will be fine I think. We've had some pretty big tents up there! If all else fails, you can have the house, we'll have the tent!

Take care, see you soon. Don't forget, if there's anything else you need, just let us know, ok?

Thanks Stu, I will keep you informed once my Mum decides........ But i think i'll let you keep the house, I don't fancy making all them breakfasts for your B&B guests....

Hi Sandra, No need to apologise..... I am doing L192 Begginers French, and yes I am loving every second of it too, I am a complete OU addict since 2004...TV??? what's that!!!!!!!  I know it only as the Big Black Box in the corner that my two boys jump around in front of waving Wii controls at
