Hi all,

I'm planning a fairly brief visit to France and Germany when the weather gets a little warmer.

I want to spend a day in Soissons (N.E of Paris) and a day in Worms (S.E Germany, near Mannheim).  I'm thinking of taking about 4 days in all, do you have any recommendations of where to stay (in a tent) around these places or somewhere in-between (Luxembourg?)

A popular choice in Luxembourg is Birkelt, which I can recommend. It's cropped up on a few threads in the past. There will be others that are more on your direct route, as this one I think adds 60 miles to the trip.

this is near Soissons and a  very nice site too

we have stayed in Luxembourg, however the site did not have tents.

I will say that Luxembourg is a truly beuatiful place. The city is gorgeous, and the place is really really lively, but a pleasant lively. Last year we toured, France germany belgium Holland switzerland and luxembourg. Luxembourg was with out a doubt the highlight of the trip, go on spoil yourself
