You can not go wrong with any of the sites in the Les Castels group. I suggest you book as July/Aug anywhere in France is always busy (if the site is any good, that is!) We are site assessors for the Alan Rogers Guides and visited 3 of these sites in 2006 and all were excellent. Don't forget to get (for a small fee) a Les Castels Privelege Card, in 2006 it entitled the holder to a pitch for 16 Euros per night. Facilities are good, especially shower blocks. Their wesite is: www.les-castels.com Anyone camping in Europe should also carry a Camping Card International which you present at reception on arrival, (prevents leaving your passport at reception.)
