Hello Ron, I can certainly recommend Camping Blaarmeersen in Gent, have been there many times, excellent, will be there again the week after Easter, can t wait. Hope this is helpful.

We have also stayed here and would agree that it is a nice campsite. Gent is also very attractive and can be reached by bus which stops near the site entrance.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Blaarmeersen is on a lakeside / recreation area as well, and you can also get that bus to the railway station and have a trip to - Brugge, Antwerp Brussels

We stayed at Bredene which is about 5 miles along the coast from Ostend, about 20 miles from Brugge. It is camping paradise with loads of sites. We stayed at Warande and enjoyed it so much that we are going back again this year. If you contact the tourist office at www.bredene.be they can give you lots of info on campsites.
