The end of July start of August will see us hit Europe again for 3 weeks. Anyone got some fantastic never to be forgotten (for the right reasons) sites in either the Biarritz area of France or Northern Spain (up to 150 miles from the border with France will do). El Delphin we know so don't worry about that one (its good well worth a visit !!).
Aye thank you.

stayed at a well positioned site at Gorlitz just east of Bilbao; downside - not many level bits and VERY popular with spanish families
Biarritz Camping at Biarritz [natch]is also well positioned at there are a couple of well placed sites at Cap Breton which is worth a trip - [if you go try Le Wok for eating]

we are thinking of these areas for 2008, have been to Biscarosse which I can highly recommend, stayed at La Rive which at the time was under different owners, believe it is much better under new ownership. Area round Arcachon we love. We are thinking of driving down and ferry back from Bilbao using clubcard vouchers. Looking at 2 sites and to be away 3 weeks. One site near Biscarosse and other either near Biarritz or Nerja, northern Spain. I love planning hols!!

We stayed at Noja in a static a couple of years ago, but it is mainly a touring site. It has direct access to an amazing beach and you can visit the lovely village of Santillana Del Mar (which is supposedly one of Spains prettiest villages). Our other site for that holiday was in Bidart near Biarritz (sorry cannot immediately recall the name but it features in the main tour operators brochures Canvas, Eurocamp etc) it was of the usual very high standard you get in France.
