The more I hear about Coachman, the more I want to steer WELL clear of the brand! I always thought of them as perhaps the best of the bunch, and seriously looked at buying one (but they were too heavy for my tow car), but I've heard rather a lot of less than impressive things from various sources of late, and your situation does NOTHING to impress at all! Would have expected better under the 'umbrella' of customer support!
When I bought my Lunar, and the dealer cocked up by failing to transfer the remaining warrantee into my name (they volunteered to transfer all paperwork into my name, and said I didn't need to do anything!), despite the limited time to act window truly expiring, Lunar couldn't have been more helpful in rectifying the situation of getting it transferred. Perfectly within their rights to have washed their hands by stating 'not done within the specified time, and supporting documentation not supplied', but they stepped up to the mark and did the decent thing and provided good customer support, even though not their direct problem!
