Hi we have just got our seasonal pitch and plan to leave the bed made up. We have just stayed in our caravan for 5 nights. And what a awful sleep I've had. We made the front sofa up with the seat pads facing down and long ways with the back rests along where our feet go. Well we kept rolling into the middle. The caravan is level. I have a memory foam topper on aswell. And we can't get comfy at all. Can you buy a caravan mattress for it. As it won't be moved again and I'm just pulling my hair out trying to sort this blinking bed out. My husband as also put a piece of ply wood between the gaps as the battens were falling out. Thanks in advance.

If with all your cushions removed you have a space at least 190cm by 140cm then that will fit a standard size double mattress. Search eBay foam double mattress. They are not that expensive. It will arrive rolled up. Remove from packaging & allow the chemical smell to disperse before you use it.

Ok thank you. I was wondering if I have the cushions placed in the wrong position. If that is why we both seem to be rolling into the middle. I'm going back to the van tomorrow so I shall measure the space .

if your going back to the van tomorrow try setting it up with the seat bases nearest the wall, with the leg roll bit on the wall and then put the backs of the seat inbetween, that seems to work the best in our van
