Guys the EHU fuse on the post trips when I use the kettle and fridge together.The kettle is also a low wattage Travel Kettle.
Now I'm no Electrician but this is a pic of the fuse on the post .Am I right in saying this only 3 amp .
I always limit what we use whilst on pitch.

It says 0.03,Amp which is not it's rating. Most sites are now 10A or even 15A.
It could be you have a faulty kettle as a low wattage one should be OK.
The site manager will be able to tell you what the hook up current limit is.
Could be an issue with the hook up itself.Is there another plug on the post you could try?

That is an RCBO, earth leakage trip ,you have a faulty kettle or fridge or perhaps a fault on the wiring to those appliance try each one separately to determine which one is causing it.
It has nothing to do with the wattage, the figure of 0.o3A refers to the fault current rating to trip the breaker.

Just spoke to a sparky mate of mine who said the B6 means 6 amp.Which is mega low.He advised with such low Ampage just be mindful what I put on.Turn an appliance off to put one on etc.

A 6A supply should be more than adequate to run a fridge and a low wattage travel kettle if that is all you have on at the same time!

Not uncommon though, as I have to stay away from certain sites as they only have 6A EHU, such as Tuckers Grave Inn near Bath, a nice pub with lots of ciders and free entertainment. They are supposed to be upgrading their supply to 10A, however, Covid delayed it, and it would cost quite a bit to upgrade. The local V-dub club had a camp out there last weekend, however, I was not able to join them as I was away camping.

Worth trying the kettle at home. Had a similar problem thinking it was the site’s electric after moving sites. Kettle had been used for the previous few weeks.

Brought kettle home and the house electric tripped too so it was the kettle after all.

Agree. We had a low wattage travel kettle that just got old & tripped in several different places - youth hostel, self catering, on campsite.

6 amps should be enough to run the fridge and the kettle; i don't think the charger would be working all the time as the battery should be fully charged ( I'm not an electrician!). We have stayed on sites with 6Amp supply often and are always conscious never to have two 'heating' appliances on together and have never had a problem apart from once when the kettle was the culprit and needed to be replaced.

1000W at 240 Volts is only app 4.17 amps.
A 6 amp RCBO won't trip a just over 6 amps there is a considerable margin over 6 amps before they trip.
