I would suggest somewhere in the mechanism that it has broken/snapped.
The hexagonal nut that stick out which you rotate to move the motors to the wheels, is on two small gear cogs, which turn the rotary motion through 90 degs, in their is a small roll pin which attches the gear cogs this could have snapped as ours did years ago.
You can also push in and out the hexagonal nut and rotate it so you can adjsut each remotely also, have you tried this. We have a EM103 on our caravan, and the cross actuation stopped working years ago so have to adjust each side separately but one side still slips every now and again as the gear cogs have become worn. We also replaced all the bearings too in the rollers. Easy job really if you have a bit machanical know how, and a vice tio replace the bits, otherwise its a swap over and buy from Ebay. you can keep the control unit etc, and jsut re attach the wires.
