I've found that the thicker padded type ones, like this one do well. A bit more expensive but proves the adage pay cheap, pay twice.

Our MH came with one, put on by the dealer above the LPG tank inlet, like the “diesel” above the fuel inlet. No idea what brand, but it’s 8 years old & still bright red.

They aren't required on caravans or LPG powered vehicles, a lot of people believe that they are legally required under the transport of dangerous goods act but that doesn't apply to vehicles used for pleasure.

Very true. When I bought my caravan 6 years ago the dealer put a new one on and it faded very quickly. Now it is almost unreadable. However, when my caravan is parked at home the front of it faces directly south.

UV resistant ink used in the printing of the labels is more expensive than standard ink, however, the lower grade stuff generates more profit plus repeat purchasing until you ask Camcroft's question above, or don't bother to have one.
