not a very clear question , but , if i assume you are wanting to wire in , some sort of warning devise , to tell you when the pump is running. then , yes , ive done this , but using a buzzer and not a warning light, but the connections would be the same , weather using a light or a buzzer.
just wire the warning light (or the buzzer) straight across the connections that go directly to the pump, then whenever the pump runs the warning light ( or buzzer) will operate . just make sure the warning light (or buzzer ) is 12v
