I am intending to buy an awning in the near future and think that the Ultima 260 would suit. The 360 is not much dearer for all the extra space. Any good or bad points for either.
We got ours in green, easy to erect and looks fab - we've have loads of comments about it on site. Its ideal for a weekend porch awning, but also great for a longer stay awning as its nice and spacious and you could easily put table/chairs in it. So you get the best of both worlds.
We didnt go for the bigger one as we do loads of weekend stays and alway erect the awning as we have a big dog - also I didnt want the whole side of the caravan covered with an awning as we like the windows open.

We have the 260 which is great for us. We put a table and two chairs in it and there is plenty of room for our airer. If you have a bigger family, you may want the larger one but check that it will fit your caravan first.
we have just bought an Ultima 260 for £129 from Awnings Direct, we tried it last weekend and we love it, we also have a full awning which is great but a waste when there is only two of us, and a small standard type porch awning.. i like the Ultima best
Thanks to all of you for the replies. Have gone for the 260 from Waudbys online and awaiting delivery. One thing I have found is that they are very few and far between, most dealers are out of stock at the moment so it must be proving a popular item.
For anyone else considering buying one, we got ours from Tenthire Direct, they have an E-bay shop but we went to their premises in Walsall and paid £125 for the Ultima 260, you could have had any colour as long as it was green, which was handy. This was only a couple of weeks ago and they had a few in stock.
We've got the 260 (have a look at my avatar!) We used it for the last seven days in horrendous weather in Devon it held up very well to the wind and rain, we definitely recommend this as its very impressive considering its only meant to be shower proof!!
It should be more than shower proof! It has a hydrostatic head of 3000 - 1500 is considered the minimum in this country - I would therefore expect it to be totally waterproof.
I think the useage recommendations are more to do with wind speed than water proofing, ie not guaranteed to hold up to strong winds.
We are thinking of getting the 260 for our Bailey Ranger, we have got a full awning but want something we can use if we go away just for a weekend. How easy is it really to put up? Also does anyone know if the inner that you can get for it can be hung either side?
It is really really easy. OH can put it up and take it down single handedly and it doesn't take long. About 40 mins to put it up including pegging it out and that is on a hardstanding with pebbley area for the awning so it takes a bit longer to get right. 20 mins to take down.
