Simon there is a magazine that lists prices but it is only published once a year so may not be in WH Smiths any more.  I know some members have it and will come along with a price for you soon.

I'm not surprised the dealer offered you so little.  We just missed a Bailey Indiana which had been offered to a dealer - and then the owner decided to sell privately for £1,000 more than the dealer had offered - and it was still almost £4,000 less than you could have bought it second-hand from the dealer themselves.  We kicked ourselves for not going for it at the time!

Have a look on some of the caravan sales websites, and see what sort of figures are being asked - and good luck, sorry you're having to sell.  There's a 2007 for sale at £8,750.

thanks gunner 8k would do dealer definetly trying it on bad though whhen you think it will be on there forcourt for 9k at least not a bad mark up in these credit crunch times!!!!

We were offered £8k for our Bailey Bordeaux 2005 we paid £11,500 new.

I think you need to take off at least the VAT you paid on purchase.

I've had the same issue - my van is 16 months old - wanted to swap it for a different layout - the dealer (who I bough the van from in the first place offered me £9,500 for a £15,500 van bought new in November 2007 - outrageous.

Needless to say I'm not swapping now.

It's like buying a new car, you take a massive financial hit as soon as you drive off the dealer's forecourt.
