Hello,

We have just picked our van up from its service, there are hardly any caravans on show, the place is almost empty.  We asked if they we waiting for stock and did not get a straight answer.  Normally as we leave they asked us to re book for next year service (they never mentioned it this time).  We came away wondering if its going to close.  Some caravans had sold signs in but it said to Darlington which is there other site.

I thought more people where buying caravans and motorhomes?

Got our van in January from Discover in Cannock and went back last weekend for the open day and they are doing really well and have been for the past couple of months.

Lunchtime on Saturday we were the only people at Outdoor Experience in Teigngrace, it was most odd.

Discover Newport (S.Wales) seems to be going strong, BUT - 2 of their staff left when it changed ownership from Mendip to Discover, & have set up round the corner, & to be honest, their prices are, for some things, substantially lower - for example, we bought a new jockey wheel & clamp from the new shop - JW was the same price, but the clamp was 50% cheaper than 'Discover' - gutted though, as CPC have the same size, with clamp for about £15 +P&P - just ordered a load of other stuff from them, wish I'd known!!

Guys at the new store were really helpful too - we went back to change the clamp to the 1 with a handle cover, thinking it was a better model, & they said it wasn't, & to take the cover off our current clamp, & save the money - so service good too!!

there is also the Carlisle caravan centre at Harker don't know what its like as havn't been for a number of years
