well its here the long awaited long weekend i cant wait only thing have you seen the weather !!!!! did any one see the article in the sun the other day moaning about us caravaners and there being a million of us on the roads tomoroow trying to beat the good friday rush!!! what can we say besides at least we are faster than the tractor in front lol. any way have a great weekend everyone!!!!
wht there complaining is beyond me alcohol sales in all stores on and near site will be dramaicly increased over the coming 2 weeks lol
what can we say besides at least we are faster than the tractor in front lol.
We own and drive vintage tractors as a hobby, and there's nothing better on a sunny Sunday afternoon than tootling along at 28mph and holding up all the traffic! lol But as you rightly say, caravans go faster than tractors so I don't know why people moan about them. Maybe they should get their own and try caravanning for themselves.
We are also away for the Easter weekend, unfortunately we can't travel tomorrow because of work commitments, but we will be leaving in the early hours of Friday morning. Less traffic on the roads and we'll be there for when the site opens at 8.30am.

Well I'll be one of the Good Friday caravans holding up all the traffic - I don't think. I love the look on their faces when they pull out to go past me and find that it's the car in front holding me up that's the problem.

..s*d the weather!!
Exactly what I said to my OH. It's Easter and it's a break - yippee!! And probably the first one of the year for many of us. If we relied on good weather in this country no-one would go anywhere!

Those who moan about being held up by a caravan for a few minutes are the sort who will happily sit in a hot smelly airport lounge for hours waiting for a delayed plane! I'm sure the only reason they moan is because they are jealous!

i am away this weekend but leaving at 3am on friday morning to avoid traffic and will stop half way there to kip, but new to caravaning i hate people that pass me and look as if to say get of the road your too slow. I must admit before i started caravaning i was one of those people but now i know what is what and have patience (sort off) so everyone that is going away have a great time and hope the weather stay's nice and have a small glass of something to toast my birthday woopee.
