Hi

Hope someone can help I am cleaning the pipes to water supply in caravan but can only get a trickle of water coming out any advice on what I need to do to get it flowing properly.

Hi and welcome  is the drain off tap closed, if this is not the problem someone will be along with the answer to your problem

Try back flushing your system , open the drain valve on your water heater and gently to start with ( using a hose on the kitchen tap ) flush the system .

Are you having poor flow on both hot and cold taps ? Is the poor flow effecting all taps ?

Thanks John will have a look tommorow have been trying to get it flowing for 2 days now thought we might have a blockage but if it is unable to clear.

Wizard my van only has cold water but will try back flushing as you suggest thanks for your help sure we will get there in the end.

Ah i see , i would check your pump first , and make sure your getting good flow from it , then check your tap , pull the pipe off the bottom of a tap and aim into a bucket then try your pump again , if all is ok it could be the tap knob is slipping in the tap spindle .

Other guesses are , pump running backwards ( unlikely ) , broken tap , split pipe , pump not actually running , air lock in pump ( shake pump in barrel ) .

Wizard no water heater very basic van just cold water or as it stands no cold water lol.

Have checked pump that is working fine plenty of pressure there is driving me mad.

How many taps do you have ? If more than one does the low flow effect both taps ?

Wizard just two one in bathroom and one in the kitchen

Thanks clanjones will give it a go have a few things we can try tommorow not going away until early June so have a little while to sort out.

if its one of these taps the micro switch is faulty
