 just been away for first time this year and forgot what a pain the green light is on fridge in the middle of the night does anyone have yhe same problem

Yes we hang a tea towel over the edge of the fridge, it work for us.

I use a tea towel aswell.  The kids like it beacuse it gives them a bit of light.

No problem with a green light - ours is Blue!! And VERY bright! But, as mentioned previously, it serves as a very effective night light for those nocturnal visits!

When we bought my parents caravan I was about the throw away a piece of cardboard that, as far as I could see, had got caught in the panel above the fridge - only for my dad to stop me and tell me that it was there to shield the light on the fridge which was very bright at night.

It was just a small piece of cardboard slotted in above and below the light and it stayed there all the time.

We kept it too, until we sold the van.

We don't have this problem because the bulb as failed and haven't been able to get a replacement. It is such a tiny little thing.
