I have been quoted the best part of £500 p/a to store a caravan on a storage site rated as Gold by CASSOA.  The facility is in the South East of England.  Does this strike people as reasonable?  I'm not sure.  Thanks in advance.

Here in the South West, we pay £432 per year for indoor CASSoA Gold Storage for a single-axle van.  The charge for outdoor pitches at our storage is £312 per year).  The rates are slightly higher for twin-axle vans.

For that, we get:-

Excellent access availability
Friendly owner on site!
Secure purpose-built fencing around compound
Former cow-shed indoor storage - doors locked out of hours
CCTV protection
Pest control
Secure (owner operated) automatic gates with addititional out of hours barrier
Fire-fighting equipment
Basic vehicle washing facilities
Card postbox system for recording entry/exit of van

We pay £350 a year for our single axle on an outside Cassoa Gold Site. We have 24 hour access and it is very secure. It's in Cheshire.

Prices can vary enormously so it may be worth looking around.

I pay £250 a year in york not CASSOA.  but indoors alarmed and camaras get to it when i want to and can have it put out on site and put away again after for a fiver

yes same for us our site is cassoa gold access all time out of season they ask for 24 hrs notice my insurance insisted on cassoa gold cos of twin axle our facilities are great compressor compound to drop of with automatic security gate and when indoors behind another locked door alarmed cctv pest control all you would expect from cassos gold we did find one much cheaper but was out doors and had acces monday to saturday 9-5 only in season feb-oct so it also depends on waht you want from your staorage we just prefered the ide of over winter it is indoors and therefore if we get bad weather no sklights blown off and damage been done before you next visit van for us in our case this year was 4 months

our van can also be put from storage on to a pitch and back in storage for a fiver save taking the 4x4!!!

£280 per annum in Northants, outdoors, secure with access 9am-6pm every day.

£ 230 undercover, access from 7 am till 9 pm at night. Barrier goes down at nightime.

god thats cheap but afraid oh would kill me if i said it was going outside and insurance insisted on cassoa silver at the least something to do with minorities thieving twin wheelers lol!!!!
