We got the call this morning at 8.20am.  Caravan nicked from our storeage site.  My wife went to work in tears and I have spent the morning on the 'phone to CRIS, CC Insurers and the police.  Really fed up about it.  I went to look at caravans this afternoon.  In reality, anyone any idea how long it takes to get it all sorted?  Really, really fed up!  The storeage site is as secure as any I know.  If someone wants to steal a van, I reckon all the security devices you can think of ain't going to stop them.  Really fed up!

how did they manage to get it out a supposedly secure site?am gutted for you both hope everything works out.it isnt just the vans its the personal things inside it as well.

How can these storage sites claim to be 'secure' when so many vans go missing or are damaged whilst being 'securely stored'?

If they want them they will have them with no regard for anyone, good that you are insured, the CC are realy good, they sorted out my friends claim for damage super quick but dont know how stolen property works. Hope you are both as ok as you can be. Its gut wrenching.

again sorry is all one can say ..not sure if the insurance co's work in the same way as car theft but they normaly wait 14 days or so to see if it turns up then they will offer a payout

Cant believe how many vans are getting stolen or damaged on these secure sites! Makes you wonder if they are inside jobs? !
