They go everywhere: Libya, Burkina Faso, Australia, Mexico, Scotland... Their catalogue states, that there is "ample space" inside each cabin. Ample for what? Most clients are elderly people, who want to see foreign countries and do not like staying in a hotel with all those foreign people around or who could not organise an expedition-type journey with campfires in the outback by themselves.

I thought they had gone out of business years ago, it used to be popular in the sixties when long-distance travel was not affordable to ordinary people.
And yes, it looks as if they have an awning and they do the cooking outside.
