We recently toured Scotland and in that time came across some pretty wierd and wonderful outfits.

The pick of them all has to be this one we spotted at Witches Craig.  It was towed behind a bus.

I'd probably still fill all the cupboard space with non-essential crap!

this  caravan and another similar come to scotland fully loaded every year, they seem to have changed sites this year they normally come to auchenbowie site where i am seasonal on the other side of stirling. for the last 8ish years

They go everywhere: Libya, Burkina Faso, Australia, Mexico, Scotland... Their catalogue states, that there is "ample space" inside each cabin. Ample for what? Most clients are elderly people, who want to see foreign countries and do not like staying in a hotel with all those foreign people around or who could not organise an expedition-type journey with campfires in the outback by themselves.

I thought they had gone out of business years ago, it used to be popular in the sixties when long-distance travel was not affordable to ordinary people.

And yes, it looks as if they have an awning and they do the cooking outside.
