Brilliant news. Re an awning Top Road tourers always have 2nd hand ones for sale, although I've never been so I don't know what they're like. Nows the time to get a bargain tho.
Happy holidays.

Sorry to hear about the faults with your new van, I assume you bought it privately. I hope you are a bit of a handyman and able to rectify these faults. I did see another posting from you about the cheeky salesman at Kirkcaldy Caravans.
Re towing in the wind, we were up at Tarland this weekend being the Fife holiday weekend. Luckily we went early on Friday morning and didnt get back until this afternoon, so we didnt have to tow in the wind, but the winds were horendous in Aberdeenshire. We drove back from Elgin on Saturday and it was quite scary. At night the lights kept flickering, we thought there might be a power cut. Happily when we woke yesterday morning there was no wind and it was it was a lovely day.
Hope you manage to get a secondhand awning Fifer 55 was right Top Road Tourers always seem to be advertising them. As for storage, if you are at the same storage as Fifer 55 we are there as well so I will look out for you. We are at the new bit down the bottom.
Good luck with all your repairs/
