Scampi I agree - we've 'drooled' too over the Celtic Rambler - now that's what I call a caravan.  The Fifth Wheel Company make you more than welcome, even though they know you're not likely to buy. 

We've been to caravan dealerships where all the doors are locked and you have to request them being unlocked one by one - we didn't buy there, we would use our local dealer who opens all the caravans every morning.  Similarly we wouldn't buy a Stealth if they're not even confident enough in their product to allow open viewing.  After all, if you can't 'browse' how do you know you might be 'buying'.  A big mistake, I think - and one which customers who've been given the 'cold shoulder' should make quite clear to the company producing the thing.

I looked at the Stealth yesterday and saw the notice so walked away. It definitely wasn't my kind of van and I doubt it is anyone else's either. If they were only showing round possible customers then they must have been quiet after I left. There was at least 20 standing in the queue which is why I gave up.

If I hadn't known the date I would have thought it was April 1st!!!

Snap Scampi!  Mmmm, Celtic Rambler, mmmmmmmm.

The Stealth is very unappealling, I don't think they are gonna last.

We went to the NEC yesterday to buy a new caravan, When we went to the Stealth stand there was a barrier across with an representative there stopping everyone. We were told that ` If we were only browsing and not buying to come back later`

We stood there with 3 or 4 other couples who had had the same treatment, looking at the caravans through the windows and externally discussing why we not buy one of these at ANY price..

It looks obvious that the designer of the Stealth Caravan only had in mind adults would be occupying their six berth caravan, because where would he have put the children to sleep at night. It couldn't be in the lounge area, perhaps you could sleep them in the large toilet and washroom, or otherwise you let them have the big double bed and then make up what a lot of caravaner's do that haven't got fixed beds and sleep in the lounge area. What a daft layout this is. I looked at them yesterday and thought this is not a caravan I would even contemplate buying now or ever.
