picked up my pod caravan could have sold it 10 times over as people could not believe any one could fit inside i call it the bat mobile matt black and tows like a dream hope he does make some more after all!

oops - didn't leave any room for text - this is my project, based on an Alko chassis and a mixture of traditional shapes / styles.  Doner parts came from a Compass Lynx, weight should be around 250kg when finished. Inside living space is a double matress + 6" all round.
Total body size is 9ft x 5 ft.

Hope to be finished next Spring.

well i am not selling them but wish i was able too but it has a patent i will get some pics when i can learn how to do so but i am showing all where ever i go looks like a bat mobile !Any way look on pod caravan website for some examples!

pete, yours looks interesting, what are you going to clad the timber with or are you going to paint it with a good gloss paint. gives me ideas, thinking on 8' long by 4'high as timber comes in 8x4 sheets possibly go fot 4' wide, thinking on using say 9mm marine ply braced with inch and a half by 3.4 inch framing, fill the voids with polystyrene and a 3mm MDF internal board, couple of scrap caravan windows and skylight. scrap trailer would provide chassis. would fit 12v lighting or perhaps just use JML stik on spots. would be comfier than a tent at the racing and when i wouldnt want to take the proper caravan. hmm gives me ideas
