Been looking through the preview for the NEC show and noticed that Bailey will be launching their new Olympus range, just wondering if anyone knows anything about them?

May 13 - Cala Gogo, St Cyprien (didn't go, hubby too ill to travel)
May 14 Ranc Davaine
August 14 Les Sablons
August 13 - Camping Playa Brava, Pals
There's a couple of pics of the new Olympus on www.caravanningnews.net . Still got that awful looking middle piece at the front, surely they could offer an ABS type as well.
Odd they've gone for 7'2" width; the same as the Rangers. They're either struggling to keep the weight down or trying to help the environment a bit more at a time whe it looks like the legal maximum width will be increaased to 2.55m in line with the rest of Europe. It would be interesting to see if they can make more efficient layouts with the wider body making them shorter.
Looks like the fridge and microwave are still the same as the Ranger.
Hmmm. Looks almost identical to the Peggy, with no step up or down in terms of equipment, trim or layout. Can't see the point in that at all - why not call it a Pegasus whatever and keep the marketing neat?
It's a little surprising that Bailey should drop their top-of-the-range van, the Senator, when they don't have something ready to replace it.

At the moment the costs and weights/measurements on the site are approximate, so I'll have to keep an eye out until they are changed. They appear to be Pageant weights and prices.
I'd imagine that the weights may reduce ....and the prices will increase
