 Sadly I have to tell all those of you who know us that our little dog Benji has died,he

 took ill during the night of 23 Feb while we were in the van on site at Braemar we

rushed him to the vets in Aberdeen on Wed morning leaving the van on site in the care of the wardens,Benji turned out to have cancer and we took the decision to have him put to sleep rather than see or have him suffer so he passed away yesterday our lives seem empty and pointless at the moment and the house is empty without him,I hope it gets better with time.I would like to thank the Wardens for their help and understanding in this difficult time and the vets staff for their kindness.RIP wee man.

I'm sorry to hear your sad news. I know how you feel because we've lost two dogs. It is like losing a child; they are a part of the family and seemingly become human with their understanding ways.

After losing the second, we vowed not to have another, but when we went away in the van all we saw was people playing with their dogs. It was awful, every van seemed to have one. Soon after, we got another dog, and at the moment we are blissfully happy with her.

We still remember the other two and will never forget them.

So sorry jjim.As a fellow dog lover i know what today feels like.

Our dogs give us so much companionship, love & loyalty. We must be glad for the happiness they give us, mourn their loss, and remember them with love.  The good times with out Molly linger, as will your Benji's

A dog never dies, he always stays,he walks beside you on crisp autumn days when frost is on the fields and winter,s drawing near his head within your hand in his old way.Forever in your heart and lovely memories.
