I woke up the first night and thought my back had been broken.

Made my way to the first B&M I saw and bought a memory foam topper, best money ever spent!!

I would recommend them, they cost about £40 for a king size.

I have always found caravan beds quite hard, which suits me. Our new fixed bed is firmer than our bed at home and I am gradually getting used to it.

I found I could put the two long cushions lengthwise on the bed at the head end. The two backrests went across at the foot end. But kept them the right way up. That was really comfy.

Best advice though is get a fixed bed.
