Hi

Wonder if anyone can help me, we picked up our new Olympus just over a week ago, and at the weekend we decided to pack it, and get the carpets down. When we unrolled the carpets, there seem to be one missing for the bathroom, can anyone tell me whether it should have one or not.
I am going to be contacting the dealer but thought i would try on here first

I've had my Olympus 624 for about a month and it didn't come with a carpet in the bathroom if that helps!?

Don't think any manufacturers put carpets in the bathroom. They get very wet and smelly.

Thanks John, i wasnt sure as they are the removeable carpets and its just bare floor, i will get mats for the bathroom now as i know older vans had them in so wasnt sure. This is my first new caravan, so just wanted to make sure

Hi Melissa

We don't bother with mats at all. It is a lot easier to wipe the floor when you get out of the shower and when you wash. We just put a towel down when we get out of the shower to step on and then you can hang it out with the others.

We use a couple of bath mats then throw them in the wash when we get home.

No we hav a 534 and there is no bathroom carpet.  I went to Ikea bought one of their large bathmaths and cut it to shape around the toilet and sink.  Its great because I can wash it.

We have had our Bailey Olympus 624 for two weeks and we didn't have any carpet in the bathroom, hope your enjoying your new van as much as we are.

i agree , with the introduction of the unicorn (the real senator replacement) the pegasus appears to have replaced the pagaent ..at £2 grand + more ?

Pleased you said that D S B - I thought I was halucinating. We keep our removable bathroom carpet under the fixed bed and have thick towels down on the bathroom floor which get washed after each trip.
