 heres the link to the pics on my control panle i cannot get them on here again i wrote down how to do it but its gone wrong again.  sorry I cant get the pics any clearere or get them on here i have been trying honist but I dont want to mess with any controls till i know what should be were for what use. thanks

 anyway can you help me work the pannle out i dont know what to set were when we go on electric eather mains or battery as we havent used any yet

 this pic is the beromiter and a timer then the next 2 switches one looks like shower with 12 volt on it bottom swich looks like the awning light with 12 volt on it

  the nest row theres a round think with a line that says fuse 1 amp, 240 volt.  below that in the next boxs thers a green and red lights. next to gree it says normal and next to red it says low. belwo that it says battery condition

 next boxs has 3 switches the top says mains charging12 volt.  fisrt swich the red one says off at the top  on at the bottom, next switch says car at the top mains at the bottom and the last thin swich says off at the top and  on at the bottom

 lokks like 3 fusein a row top 10amp middle 13amp bottom 10amp. the next  2 swiches a black and green one. top black says on and off bottom green says alarm and test and belwo both it says gas alarm system. last 2 swiches  top looks like a light bulb and says 12 volt. bottom looks like a fan and says 12 volt.

  thats all the panle excet for the car sterion that looks like someones fitted it later

  theres what looks like a mains fuse boxs in the wardrobe aswell

Right here we go...


First 2 switches after the timer the one you say is shower - could this be the water pump switch?

The next would be for the outside light - awning light

The 2 amp fuse would be for your charger

Red and green indicator tells you the state of your battery.

The red illuminated switch is the 230v mains on (this may also switch on the 230v to your fridge as well)

The next switch is the battery charger switch this should be on (mains position) to charge the battery

The last switch here is the Battery switch - again should be on to use or charge the battery

The fuses will control lighting and water pump and possible one spare - this is a case of removing each one and see what doesn't work - they are all 12v

The next 2 switches are for a gas alarm system you have - I have no idea how it works

the final switches one is for the lighting the other for a fan which you may or may not have - possibly a vent fan.


I think the radio may be original

The fuse box you have really needs changing to one with a RCCD and MCBs - The RCCD will prevent you getting a shock and the MCDs will trip faster than a fuse will blow.

 if i need a Rccd and MCBS were from and who do i get to fit  it is it expencive if it is i may stay of electic for now
