hello could anyone tell me how to get the alko hitch lock off please we have managed to lose the keys for they lock DUMB WE NO  but need to get it off does anyone no how to get it off please email me with any replies at golfmad64 at yahoo.co.uk  thank you

Might I suggest that methods to remove a hitch lock without using the keys is not the sort of information that ought to be publically aired.

Perhaps if you left an email address people could contact you directly with suggestions.

How about contacting your hitch lock manufacturer? theres probably a serial number you can quote (if you can see it when its fitted).

I lost the keys from my AlKo and was advised by AlKo that the only way to remove it would be to drill the lock barrel out.

Hi. if you bought the lock new. did you not register your lock with Alko? This is for case`s like this, lost keys. other than that, the only wayout is the drill.

Hi , Im new here. Only had our caravan a couple of months and I've left my keys on my bonnet and drove off to work! Have back tracked but nothing. Im replacing my front door and have a spare to the rest. BUT My Alko hitch lock is still locked onto the caravan :(

Can someone email me the best way to remove this.

We bought the caravan second hand with all documents but no registration for it.

We have Alko hitch locks on all our trailers at work, and the operatives often lose the keys. The only way is to drill the barrel out and get a new barrel from Alko. We always have a few as spares.

Nope! Not registered as we bought caravan second hand and came with an also hitch lock on !
