Hi,
Were changing our van and after lots of research we have chosen the pageant.
Been to see a 2010 sancere today and tomorrow off to see a 2009 burgundy at ryedale leisure.
The vans are similar in weight/spec/design but the sancere has a larger rear wash room with seperate shower, the burgundy has a larger living area with smaller rear side shower/toilet.
Just wandered if any owners of either van can help with our decision?
chris

When we changed our van last yeat from a large rear bathroom model to rhe much smaller corner bathroom model you have to think which is more important
16 hours in the living area
7 3/4 hours in bed
15 mins in the bathroom
We decided that living space was far better suited to our needs

Exactly !
In fact we are gradually coming round to your way of thinking - Having a two berth we would like more room in the living area - but still a rear bathroom. Maybe just a 4 berth side dinette will do us. Plus we used to have a Mondeo so were restricted in weight. Lots to consider ! Nothing is permanent !

After having both a series 6 Burgundy and a Series 7 Sancere in the past If I had the choice again the Burgundy would be my first choice
Although a it has a smaller washroom the living area is bigger and more comfortable which is more important in my opinion

We had an 07 Burgundy which we liked, the Sancerre was not available at the time or we would have gone for it.
We now have a Pegasus 534 which is the same layout as the Sancerre.
We prefer the larger washroom (the shower is also bigger)-because we use sites without facilities.
You gain a bit more worksurface in the Burgundy layout. There is only the two of us so no problem. We also have the chest of drawers (£ lots!)in the Pegasus
Its personal choice really.

Have to agree with you on that Big Al.
The Sancerre was released just as we set our minds on the Burgundy S7, we thought it might just change our minds. However when we spent some time in it at the show and soon discovered that the extra living room was for us. Layouts are always a compromise, its all down to the one that suits your needs now, and in the foreseeable future. We also found Rydale Leisure to be very good people to do business with. Wishing you many happy trips out in your new caravan.
