I mean no offence to anyone welsh,but today i had no intention of buying a caravan,my wife and i were "just looking",we had looked at a few hundred or so just to get an idea on what we wanted,there was absolutely no intention of buying a van before i had sold my boat.

Anyhow,we walked into a TEC Wellsbummler and fell in love with it,so we slapped down a deposit and we will pick it up in 12 days time

I would not have belived you if you had told me this morning that i would be the happy owner of a TEC caravan

Hi welcome to a world of decent caravans that don't leak or fall to bits.

I've got a tec travelking after owning a few lemons.

Dear oh dear Google. Globe Trotter kind of - it has more the sense of a wanderer round the world. Ein Stadtbummel is what you do when you wander around town and look at stuff, maybe window shop, take in a museum, no real aim in mind but you just wander about.

They're nice caravans, we were interested in them before we bought our Burstner.  It was almost worth buying one for the name alone - i could just picture people's faces when they asked what kind of van we had.   "It's a Weltbummler."   "I beg your pardon!?!"

im trying to decide where to spend my money first,so far its 350.00 for a towbar and it looks like insurance is going to be 225.00.We will have to buy everything just about,the van is coming with a starter pack consisting of an aqua roll,waist thinngy and a new battery,so that means loads of stuff,my wife just loves shopping so ill just let her get on with it.

I intend to sleep in it in  my back garden when i get it home

But did you know that us Welsh never take the mickey out of the English? They can do that themselves without help!  LOL
