We have a Kampa Fiesta 350 and also being a newbie was able to set it up first time ever out in a caravan with zero arguments

Kampa Rally 260, top quality porch awning which is very sturdy in the wind, especially if you buy the optional storm straps and rear uprights, which keep it almost as snug as a full awning to the caravan sides.

 They also do a 200 and a 390 if you want either more or less space, and our 2010 model is is made from 4000mm hydrostatic head grade material, so very weatherproof. You can also buy Monsoon poles as extras if needed, but most owners fined them ok without in this country, as we dont get that many Monsoons lol!

They weigh around 11kg with the rear uprights included, and are also very quick and simple to erect, and very roomy at the front thanks to the pole configuration takingaway most of the arc of the curve usually found in this type of awning.

We have the Kampa Fiesta 350 aswell, piece of cake to put up and withstood some real harsh windy weather last year in Whitby.  It has the added bonus of being able to add an annex on either end.

We have the Kampa Rally 260 too and it has withstood some fairly nasty wind and rain very well indeed. We too have the rear poles and the storm straps. Again it is very easy to put up. For the money I think it is really excellent. But when it is hot it is like an oven and there is virtually no shade effect from the roof. We have an Isabella Capri full awning for week long breaks in summer. But for hot weekends I think we need something smaller and easier to erect like an Isabella part awning. Maybe if/when we get a bigger caravan that's what we will do !

P.S. I would never pay full price for an Isabella. As above we bought ours 2nd hand from the Caravan Club classifieds.

Thanks everybody for your replies, will look at Kampa and maybe pyramid as we have a pyramid corsican full awning and thats ok, although a bit heavy,

Someone has a 'Ventura' porch awning for sale in good condition for £125 and also a 'Trio' porch awning for the same price also in excellent condition according to the adverts.
