I know this is not reall Caravan related but i'm sick of people using their phones whilst driving!!!! I know some people have to use thier phones but at least use a suitable handsfree kit, you can buy one for about £10-£20 and if it saves a life i'm sure its worth it!!!
Hate it! What happens if someone reports their Reg no. and the time they were seen on the phone, surely the police could check the records and fine them - especially if they were photographed! Maybe we all need to sit behind bushes waiting to snap them :)
I get really annoyed about this too, people dont see the dangers of using mobiles whilst driveing, when oh had a bike he had a yellow bike jacket and looked like a police man from the distance he used to ride behind cars and pull along side and shake his head people soon got off their phones
We met a lovely couple at a caravan club site. During one of our many nights of conversations they told us that their son had been killed whilst he was riding his push bike... guess who killed him... a lady driving whilst using her mobile phone. She was too distracted to see him. So yes... we get really annoyed when we see someone using their mobile whilst driving.
Yes it does anny me - it also annoys me when people pull over in some of the most inconvenient & dangerous spots to stop whilst they answer their phone. Very little can be THAT important surely.
There's absolutely NO excuse whatsoever that any mobile phone user could give to justify using the phone when driving. Pretty much any handset now is equipped with bluetooth, so suitable headsets are available as an absolute minimum, but then as Millermicm has rightly said, no conversation is that important.
What annoys me one stage further though, is the many folk I see who are writing text/sms messages while driving and travel some distance while looking down at their phone
Mrs G7 got shunted some years ago and her car written off ... by someone using their phone. The culprit was prosecuted and enforced to take a two day drivers awareness course at their expense.
On a side issue, I'm also frustrated at the large percentage of caravan users who don't use towing mirrors; but this annoyance has been covered elsewhere before.

unless you break down happened to me on the way out of a car park on a blind bend gear stick went all floppy and car died the amount of filthy looks i got when called the breakdown co !!!!
mobile phones in cars are apet hate of mine along with smoking when driving
I think people should be banned from Driving for Holding either for a phone call or texting, People are getting killed through this mindless act of people. I also agree about towing mirrors if your car is not wider than your caravan use towing mirrors!!!!!
Hi, My solution to the problem "Crush car and Phone preferably with the offender in it", Have seen too many big cars with driver holding phone in right hand across chest to left ear. you would think if they could afford to spend money on expensive cars you would think they could afford a hands free kit at less than half the price to fill thier cars, Seen one guy doing 70MPH on phone,Reading open Map over wheel, while overtaking, and only 6ft from car in front of him.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
Unfortunately pedestrians are just as bad - walking along staring at the phone - especially "youths"
I pass a lot on their way to school. Often they walk across junctions oblivious to oncoming traffic. I am tempted to bump one as a lesson to all of them!
