having seen the substantial discount we'll get on our insurance from having this wheel lock can anyone tell me what number I need? It looks like a need the 1st one on Alkos website (the 14 inch alloy wheel one).

I'm hoping the van seller will let me buy the lock (its not currently included in the sale) but if not then I'll find one on ebay asap.

You had a bargain there, it should come with its own carrying case & a cassette typre holder inside to hold all the components & keys.

Have I missed something here? I thought you were buying a Lunar van from a dealer in Worcester

That's what I thought BB, but apparantly Savanne's OH found another option just hours after the Lunar and they're picking this one up this weekend.

I don't know which unit you need for a Ranger, if you go on the Al-Ko web site & give them a ring, they're very helpful & will be able to tell you which lock you need. They may even give you a good price  to supply one.

How did the chap who thought he'd sold you the Lunar feel when you cancelled the deal to buy his caravan?

Have you checked it for DAMP ETC as there is some scum bag in Chorely passing off vans as good and they are heaps.

He advertise's on pooh b ay etc .

I've been through hell with depression and anxiety this year and getting a van is a positive step in helping my recovery. That's just it, they don't know anything about your new van. Ignore the comment, you know what you have, enjoy it.
I know where you are coming from regards depression & anxiety,I experience it myself & the last thing you want are fears about your decision from an outside source.
Don't leave UKCS, there's too much good in it to give it up.
Enjoy your new van, there's plenty of summer left this year (we hope !! )

The van is just twelve months old and was serviced at discovery where it was also stored. We have a damp test report stamped and all paperwork from two weeks ago. They only used it three times, its mint. We cris checked it too. If this is a wind up then its not funny. I'm sat here now worrying.

It is NOT a wind up but if the van is only a year old there is NOTHING to worry about as it has all the warrranties left 2 and 5 years!!

Ps what Ranger is it?

Discovers service is second to none we have ours serviced there and we have two dealers within 15 miles of our house yet discover is a 50 round trip each time.
