After what has seemed like ages (only 13 days lol) we have finally picked up our new van. Was a bit daunting at first when we were shown how everything works and how to connect everyhing, but im sure we will be fine. OH drove it from the caravan place and we drove in total silence as we were both listening for any strange noises. We then took it around to show the family who all loved it and said what a good choice we had made, brought it home and filled it with bits n bobs, then took it and stored it away. Cant wait for the big trip in August just so i can get it out again, I just know it was the best decision we have made and am sure we are going to have very good trips away with it
I actually thought about goin away this weekend but Ive promised to take kids to see Joe Mcelderry at South Shields on sunday. If I had my way I would cancel and go away but kids might kill me
Congratulations on your new van :) Its a great feeling when you get them home and can add all your own little bits and bobs then start booking all your trips away!
Enjoy your new van. Remember to check the wheel nuts on each trip. We weren't told this until our wheel fell off and wrote our van off. Swindon caravans, where we bought the van, told us after the event that the caravan club recommend you check them each trip out. We'd only had our van for 3 and a half months.

You do not want to be done in by your kids BEFORE you at least try it out. Shall we say after wards then

looked at the campsite next to bents park in south shield but would mean booking for 2 nights (£70) as the van would have to be off by 12 and joe isnt on til 2.30 :( As much as i want to use the van im not goin to pay that much :)
