Well goodbye Sprite Major 5 and hello Elddis Avante 554.

Spent yesterday and today giving it the once over. Got the motor mover refitted today. System sterilised and flushed.Almost completely packed now, just need to try and get away next weekend now :)


PS its better than that cadac anyway ;)

Yes and no, the old van has everything the new van has. However the quality and the features of the new one are a lot better. For example we now have a proper shower, and an electric flush toilet. One downside about the new one, is that it has a submersible pump whereas the old van had an internal pump.
The sprite was a great first van, but the rear bunks suit us better now :)

Well Clitheroe was horrendous! The site should not be in use! Site was soaking wet, the caravan sunk into the soggy grass. Car sunk into the grass.

Ended up with both car and caravan stuck, the motor mover would only either slip on the wheels, or spin the wheels in the mud. Eventually got unstuck with the help of the wardens mini tractor and 4 people pushing and pulling!

It was an absolute disgrace to have a site in such a condition!!
