I do what Jeff says and then keep it i nthe gartage with a dustbin bag over it to keep the dust off. The waste water container I clean with Fendox and then cover that with a bin bag and store in the garage.

The other half washes both the Aqua roll and water hog with clean water then drains completely and leaves caps on, when using again we wash out with milton before using and she who must be obeyed wont make a cuppa from the aqua roll but will from a one gallon water carrier

This has popped up now and again.My view is you might not drink the water from the barrels but you cool the hot water for dishes with the cold water.So if the barrel has any germs in it or the pipes, you must be putting germs on your plates etc by using the cold water.

I use beer line cleaner. i fill my two aquarolls with water and beer line cleaner, leave for 15 mins or so, then pump them both through the system, hot pipes and cold, then run out, through the drain pipes and into the wastemaster and drain down the water heater. then after this thoroughly flush the aquarolls out, before filling with fresh water and flushing through the pipes again. dead cheap, very effective and pretty easy to do. we do drink the water in the van and never had any issues doing so because i know that the whole system is perfectly clean.

My mistake i meant to say we left caps OFF but for some strange man reason i typed on . sorry kay .
